As digital marketing manager in house at Vissla, I brought an informed, artistic energy to the strategy, planning and execution of all marketing initiatives via our organic channels and outside media outlets. As lead copywriter for the brand, I took pride in upholding the voice of the brand in all of our messaging. Working most of my time at Vissla without an art director in the department, it allowed me to take a lead on our collaborative efforts to develop creative campaigns and messaging for the brand — mainly taking ownership and initiative on our marketing ‘ABC’s’ to support key product categories throughout each season.
Fall 2022 Wetsuit Marketing Campaign characterizing different series within Vissla Wetsuit Collection. Concepted, produced and rolled out alongside in-house photo/video team.
Lead development and execution of first ever ‘Style Matters’ competition alongside contracted creatives at Inherent Bummer. Developed concept deck and all copywriting for the project, as well as full responsibility working with web developers on individual website page hosting competition entries and videos.
Worked directly alongside artist Thomas Campbell for marketing strategy and launch of his signature collection. Interviewed Thomas about the collection and published text in a newsprint zine to compliment the collection launch.
Helped with production and execution of 3 day ‘Creators Gathering’ on location building surfboards and capturing content to support Holiday Creators Collection.
Played key role in planning, marketing rollout, music booking, and event production for annual event ‘Cosmic Creek’.
Lead initiatives for quarterly giveaways to push customer acquisition and email collection.
